When you are looking to get a $50,000 steel roof installed you want to hire people with integrity and knowledge. After much unsuccessful searching, I heard about Silver Oak Roofing on JazzFM. I contacted them and they were out to my property in 3 days with good references and a quote that was fair.
The following week they started stripping the old cedar roof (doing this on a 12/12 pitch is not easy and a couple of firms were reluctant to do it) and installing our choice of new steel roof. Sikander and his crew are hard working, and professional, with good knowledge about this kind of roofing which takes time to install. The entire project took 22 days over 5 1/2 weeks because of rainy days. They worked weekends and any days you allowed them, asking first whether it was okay to work those days. They cleaned up the site totally each night.
